El Porto Surf Shop

El Porto Surf Shop is the hidden gem of the South Bay and is the closest surf shop to LAX since 1996. It's very popular among both travelers and locals and serves as a one stop shop. The everything-friendly place has all the surfing essentials you need, and comes with a once in a surf shop experience. Always happy to serve everyone, including dogs and cannabis/mushroom friendlys. Enjoy a calm and comfortable setting that includes a free live stream of the waves right down the street. They are open everyday 6:30AM to 6:30PM religiously supporting the Dawn Patrollers and offering a free cup of coffee when you bring a mug with their sticker on it. El Porto Surf Shop rents out various surfboards including foamys, hard tops, and fiberglass ranging in sizes from 5ft to 9+ ft. Dive N’ Surf has been a go-to spot for surfers and scuba divers since its doors opened in 1953. They provide wonderful services as well as quality equipment. Whether you're a first-time surfer or diver, or a professional, Dive N' Surf has what you need! Some rentals they offer include surfboards, paddle boards, wetsuits (both diving and surfing), kayaks, as well as numerous diving necessities. Rentals can be either daily or hourly and rates depend on the equipment rented. Expect helpful and friendly staff when visiting, and view their very large storefront, as well as the largest used surfboard consignment section in the South Bay.
