The below list is all the fun things for adults to do in when visiting Washington D.C. The list is as follows!
Let out your inner raver and embrace PLUR (that’s peace, love, unity and respect) at DC’s largest indoor concert venue, which also was voted as the world’s number one club in DJ Mag Top 100 clubs poll 2021. The space is no match, however, for the state-of-the-art German sound system, perfect for DJs at the top of their game like David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Tiësto. While a pumped-up dance party is a regular occurrence at the venue, it also attracts artists like Sam Smith and Kid Cudi.
2. 9:30 Club
The 9:30 Club has been at the forefront of the District’s music scene since its inception, and made its bones in the ‘80s hosting soon-to-shine acts including Chuck Brown, Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Police. Since moving to its current location in 1996, world famous acts like Bob Dylan, The Beastie Boys and Radiohead have graced its stage.
3. John F. Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts
Washington D.C.'s premier performing arts venue offers approximately 3,000 performances a year. The Kennedy Center is the home to the National Symphony Orchestra, Washington National Opera, and Washington Ballet. Performing arts include theater, musicals, dance, orchestral, chamber, jazz, pop music, folk, youth and family programs, and multimedia shows.
4. The Washington Nationals Stadium
Take the Nationals Governor’s Tour at The Washington National's Stadium for a behind-the-scenes look at Nationals Park. Over the course of two hours you will visit The Shirley Povich Media Area, FIS Champions Club, Washington Suites, Warning Track, Dugout, The Visiting Team Clubhouse and the Bullpen. The Nationals Governor's Tour is available during non-game days. During game days take the Pregame Tour and get up close and personal with all the pregame action!
5. Visit a Dispensary or Use a Weed & Mushroom Delivery Service!
Cannabis and magic mushroom gifting are all the rage ever since local ballot initiatives I-71 and I-81 decriminalized the substances and made them available for sharing or giving away! DC now has myriad businesses operating openly as cannabis and mushroom dispensaries, serving the masses - usually requiring the consumer to purchase a sticker or bag to receive the requested "free" cannabis and magic mushrooms inside. Ordering is easier than ever! No medical card needed. Finding a good dispensary in DC is as easy as searching Googlemaps, or just click here for my favorite delivery service!
